  • The state of Connecticut adheres to all federal emission standards for hazardous air pollutants (HAPs). National emission standards for HAPs, compliance dates and their rules and implementation are found in the following U.S. Environmental Protection Agency link: http://www.epa.gov/ttn/atw/eparules.html.u. Connecticut also regulates state HAPS (see: Regulation 22a-174-Section 29: Regulations of Connecticut State Agencies (RCSA) Title 22a. http://www.ct.gov/dep/cwp/view.asp?a=2684&q=322184&depNav_GID=1619 . The state list is used for emission inventory, permitting and ambient air quality standards.
