• The state of Louisiana adheres to all federal emission standards for hazardous air pollutants (HAPs). The State of Louisiana HAPs list is used for emissions inventory. Louisiana uses the federal HAPs list and a state TAPs list with additional chemicals. • Air Quality Assessment Division: The Louisiana Department of Environmental Qualityhttp://www.deq.louisiana.gov/portal/HOME.aspx houses the Air Quality Assessment Division http://www.deq.louisiana.gov/portal/DIVISIONS/AirQualityAssessment.aspx . This division is responsible for enforcing federal and state regulations for maintaining air quality in the state of Louisiana.
