Carbon Offset

Each site under your control has an associated Greenhouse Gas Emissions Inventory, which includes all of your GHG generating sources. While maintaining this inventory, it is equally important to track not only all of your emission sources, but all of the CO2 savings your facility has generated from the implementation of Sustainability initiatives.

Typical examples of this are sites that have reduced energy consumption through fuel conservation measures or an alteration to the methods in which materials are processed on the factory floor.

All of these "Green Activities" are quantifiable and reportable as "Carbon Offsets", which are becoming an increasingly attractive resource with emerging carbon markets and with the effects on shareholder interest through carbon disclosure forums, such as the Carbon Disclosure Project.
